A few thanks, NPR style

I want to say Thank You to the folks who clicked my Donate button after reading the last Secret Bird Call, and to everyone who has so generously contributed to Beauty Dish over the past two years. I am so grateful for your continued support.

I'm going to call the next few days a special Pledge Break. If you donate (and of course, those who already have over the past week), you will receive a super fun story about Frankie, my pot-bellied pig. It's called Run, Frankie, Run! It's not what you think...

I'm sending out the story Tuesday night, which is when Pledge Break will end.

Your contribution is helping pay my web hosting bills and my blog Typepad bill, as well as enabling me to make nicely bound copies of several of my stories to give out to the literary professionals on the upcoming Gather cruise. I would never be able to do this without you. If I receive enough donations, I can haul a little less Avon over the next few days and park myself at my desk and write!
