destinationCRM has a story in the current issue called Power to the People. Journalist Jessica Tsai has written a thoughtful article on the ways that new media is changing the interaction between consumer and corporation. As an ex-Avon Evangelist, my experience hawking Avon is mentioned. I miss writing about my Avon experiences at times like this. But to be completely honest, I am happy to be working in areas where I am appreciated and respected.

I have a free evening, oooo la la!

My boys are sleeping over a friend's home tonight! I have 24 blessed hours of absolute freedom, not counting the hour I'm on KFUN tomorrow morning.

Tonight I think I'll go to the Bull Rush - a fairly rowdy bar and dance club - where local music artist El Gringo will be entertaining with his mariachi rock and roll. I'll slip some Avon samples in my purse, but honestly, I'm tired of working. I may forget to hand out those little fragrance samples and simply dance, dance, dance! Okay, who am I kidding? Of course I'll hand out those samples, and hopefully find a little... trouble... too.

Yeah, yeah, I haven't posted the rest of the Roswell story! It was abducted by aliens, I swear!

Truthfully, I had some family stuff fall into my lap, and I'm still engaged in the middle of it. You'd think by now, with five kids and a huge extended family and an enormous number of pets that I would have learned not to promise specific times for my stories! This is one of my obvious life lessons, and I am grateful for the opportunity to examine it once more, and to try to be a little less specific in the future....

And, for question number two: I was listening to the radio in the car today, and the newsman read a report that said that many people are questioning whether Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' baby exists! I kid you not! What do you think? Think she stuffed a watermelon under that shirt for a few months? Or is little Suri hiding in the New Mexican secret Scientology compound where I left my brochures a few months ago?
