Skypecast weather advisory!
After many months of severe drought, the floodgates opened last week. Afternoon moonsoon is the new rule, the hours surrounding twilight a jazz improvisation of countless droplets against the tin roof of my shed. The resevoir - just a few weeks at a scary 30% capacity - is at 75% and on the rise. Yay!
The rains bring surprises too. Thunder scares my dog and pot-bellied pig, and lightening fries our threadbare power lines. I've lost power three evenings this week, and today's clouds are already poised black on the horizon and the rain has just begun. Tonight's forecast calls for more thunder and hail. I may not be online at the Skypecast time! If weather keeps me from the debut, then the party is rescheduled for tomorow, Monday, same time. My boys are excited to tell you about their new pets. (Yeah, you read that right. MORE pets in the household. Bonnie will like these pets, hint hint....)
I'm keeping fingers crossed for good weather luck!
